Step into the festive period at a one-of-a-kind medieval themed family-focused Christmas fayre at the magical Michelham Priory, near Hailsham in East Sussex.

Walk through the Gatehouse, and you’ll feel you’ve entered a medieval winter wonderland in full festive celebration with a range of jovial entertainment, ‘make & take’ and ‘have-a-go’ activities for all ages, roaring fires to roast marshmallows, traditional seasonal food and drinks, and a marketplace filled with unique gifts where your Christmas shopping can begin.

**General Parking: All Visitors will be required to park at Arlington Stadium (Eastbourne Speedway ) Arlington Rd W, Hailsham BN27 3RE

Shuttle Buses: Buses will be running throughout the day between the parking and Michelham Priory, and back. (9.30am to 6.30pm)

BLUE BADGE: Limited Blue Badge Parking at Michelham Priory.

(Pre-book Blue Parking ticket at time of booking entry ticket)

Getting to Parking & Shuttle Buses at Arlington Stadium (Eastbourne Speedway)

By Car

From the North, London, or M25, leave the M25 on the M23 junction (signed for Gatwick and Brighton) and follow the M23. Follow the M23 (turns into A23) until you reach the A27 junction (just before you reach Brighton). Follow the A27 and signs heading east, and the site is 8 miles north-west of Eastbourne off the A22/A27, and is signposted off the A22 Hailsham by-pass.

From the West, or the South Coast, you can approach Eastbourne from the M27 (turns into the A27).

From North Kent you could travel via the M25 / M23, or from South Kent you could follow the A21 until Battle, then cut across to Pevensey Bay and Eastbourne.

By Rail / Train:

The nearest station to Arlington Stadium (Eastbourne Speedway) is at Polegate, which is served by trains from London, Brighton and Ashford. Taking a taxi is the best option.

1. ADVANCE TICKET SALES: Confirm entry by purchasing tickets in advance online.
   
2. TIME SLOTS: To minimise queues and crowds, we ask you to book an arrival timeslot for your visit to England’s Medieval Christmas Fayre. You can arrive at any time during your booked timeslot, and once on-site are welcome to stay as long as you wish.
3. EVENT DAY SALES: Ticket sales on event days are subject to availability as there is a limited site capacity. While pre-booked tickets guarantee entry and are cheaper than on-the-day tickets, those who wish to pay on the day will be required to make their way to Arlington Stadium in the first instance and use the Park & Ride shuttle bus provided to attend the event. Payment for parking is £5 at Arlington Stadium, and admission tickets can be purchased upon arrival at Michelham Priory.
4. PARKING TICKETS: All vehicles require a parking ticket for General Parking and Blue Badge.
5. GENERAL PARKING: There is NO general parking at Michelham Priory. All Visitors will be required to ‘Park & Ride’ from Arlington Stadium (Eastbourne Speedway ) and take the Shuttle Bus to Michelham Priory and back.
6. SHUTTLE BUSES: Buses will be running throughout the day between the parking location and Michelham Priory, and back. (9.30am to 6.30pm)
7. BLUE BADGE PARKING: There are limited dedicated parking spaces for visitors displaying a Blue Badge at Michelham Priory (Parking ticket required).
8. ACTIVITY TOKENS: Activity tokens can be purchased online (less expensive) or on-site as card of five tokens or individually
9. CHILD’S CHRISTMAS EXPERIENCE: A special ticket just for children 3-12yrs old. It includes Entry to the England's Medieval Christmas Fayre PLUS: Gingerbread cookie/man decorating; Reindeer Food Making for Santa’s reindeer; Letter Writing - Write a letter Santa, and Post it to the North Pole; Christmas Crafts – Tree Ornament Making or Christmas Artwork; and a choice of Brass Rubbing; Children’s Archery & Axe Throwing; the Snowball Launch; Rolling Reindeer ride; and Marshmallows for Roasting!
10. CHILDREN ENTRY: Children under 2yrs old is free entry
11. GROUNDS ACCESS: Gardens, ground floor of the house, barn and courtyard area are all accessible - Wheelchair ramps provided where necessary - As it is an outdoor and indoor event, please come prepared for all weather conditions - Disabled toilets on site.
12. DOGS: Well behaved dogs on leads are welcome
13. OPEN FIRES: There will be some open fires, so please take caution around them.
14. REFUNDS: Ticket sales are non-refundable unless you have purchased Ticket Protection at the time of booking your ticket online (please read the rules and terms for refunds)
